Anna Shamshurina
Founder
Anna is the founder of SheRebuilds. With years of experience in social initiatives and a strong commitment to women's empowerment, Anna previously volunteered with a project assisting survivors of domestic violence. Now, she strives to create a space where every woman can find a path to a new life. Her goal is to help women gain confidence, professional skills, and independence. Anna believes that even the smallest step can lead to significant change.
Juani Baro
Volunteer-coach
Juani Baro, an Argentinian, has extensive experience in sales and has worked in a variety of industries and countries. He recently received a diploma as an Executive Coach and launched his personal brand, helping others succeed in job interviews and find (or change ) jobs. Fluent in both Spanish and English, Juani decided to support our cause by providing assistance to women who are looking to embark on a new career path.
Ayesha Javaid
Volunteer-psychologist
Ayesha is a volunteer counselor psychologist at She Rebuilds, dedicated to supporting women who have experienced domestic violence. Through compassionate counseling and emotional support, she helps these women heal, regain confidence, and rebuild their lives. Her work focuses on providing a safe space for healing, while also assisting in developing essential life skills to help women prepare for new opportunities. Fluent in both Urdu and English, she is able to offer counseling services to a diverse range of individuals, empowering them to take control of their future. She is currently pursuing her Master's Degree at the University of Pécs, a prestigious institute in Hungary, further enhancing her expertise in the field of mental health and counseling.
Ananya Singh
Volunteer-psychologist
Ananya a dedicated psychologist with over two years of experience specializing in counseling adolescents, adults, and middle-aged individuals.
As a telemedicine mental health therapist, she has provided psychological support to women experiencing domestic violence, emotional abuse, and family conflicts.
At sheRebuilds, Ananya aim to continue supporting women facing domestic violence by offering trauma-informed care, helping them rebuild their lives, and empowering them to find strength in their healing journey.
Jayna Peña
Volunteer-Marketing & Partnerships Coordinator
Born and raised in New York City, Jayna cares deeply about community and connection. She has supported organizations raising awareness about domestic violence and collaborated with local groups in Madrid to organize inclusive, creative events that bring people together.
Jayna focuses on creating welcoming spaces where others feel seen, supported, and encouraged to get involved.
At sheRebuilds, she will help us grow through creative marketing ideas and meaningful collaborations that share our mission with more women around the world.
Sonny Huynh
Volunteer-Illustrator & Graphic Designer
With over eight years of experience in creating meaningful visual stories across digital, print, and motion platforms, Sonny has worked with national brands like BuzzFeed and Oscar Mayer. Her work transforms complex ideas into approachable, emotionally resonant designs that speak directly to the heart.

Originally from Greece, Katerina is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Communication, Marketing & Advertising. Her professional interests focus on creativity, storytelling, and building genuine connections between people through meaningful content.
At sheRebuilds, Katerina is responsible for developing our Instagram presence. She helps create inspiring posts and share valuable tips and resources for women rebuilding their confidence and careers after experiencing violence.
Daniel Hayden
Volunteer-Video Editor
Originally from Dallas, Texas, Daniel is a filmmaker based in Los Angeles. Over the past decade, he has worked as an editor, director, and writer on projects for Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, and Paramount Pictures.
At sheRebuilds, Daniel brings his creativity and storytelling experience to help us share women’s voices through inspiring videos that reflect strength, hope, and transformation.
